Rice Bowl Chinese Cafe

"I have been coming here for 30 years through all of the different owners but tonight was the last time I will ever go. I went in and ordered one scoop of rice and one scoop of sweet and sour chicken when I got to the cashier he opened the box and said is this a double I said no I ordered 1 portion that is how much the guy gave me he was kind of rude about it but oh well he could have taken some out if it were an issue he did not but the kicker was he was not going to give me sweet and sour sauce just the dry chicken pieces I asked for the sweet and sour sauce with the sweet and sour chicken and he proceeded to charge me for the sauce I said why would I pay for the sauce that is literally in the name of the entree? He said you are already getting extra chicken I was like I didn't ask for anything extra he got so rude with me I just left the food I just can't believe that they would charge extra for something that you need to make it what it is. Lost a 30 year customer over some cheap sauce good luck"

"I decided to go to this place for the first time for lunch. The place is a bit dirty and run down but I don't judge a book by its cover. It's appearances aren't what bothered me. It was the fact that i walked in and saw alot of cross contamination. Lots of different food dropped into the other pans. Even that wasn't the worse part. The server dropped the food utensils and then put them back in the food!!!! If that isn't enough. I ordered fried shrimp and the shrimp was breaded and fried with all of the legs and shells still on them! Who does that? I was so disappointed at that point I just threw everything away."

"This is a hidden gem. The place is small and incredibly busy. I started my wait in a line that was all the way outside to the parking lot, but I had my food and was leaving within ten minutes. The food is delicious and huge portions."

"Don't judge a book by it's cover. Good food at an unbeatable price, served quick. Not a ton of space inside but you can eat in if you want. Great place for a quick, cheap lunch."
