"Another update: of course we gave it another shot because we have always loved this place. It was fantastic just like I remembered it used to be. Please be consistent and don’t be stingy with the meat. Our sandwiches were fresh and packed. Delicious. We will be back. Update: we gave it another try and sadly nothing has changed. We also ordered french fries and they were hard cold and old. Maybe because this was later in the evening I don’t know but this place used to be so great, what happened? We usually have a good experience here, but sadly this time the quantity and quality was lacking. We were able to move the meat (the slam) to one side of the sandwich because it was mostly bread. So it was more like a 4/5 inch sandwich instead of an 8. The flavor was lacking as well. We also had the chicken slam in the order and that one was good. Not sure why the two regular slams were not made the same. Disappointed but will give it another chance in the future."

"Excellent & consistent Philly Cheesesteak with tons of options & toppings. I love the Slam which has almost all the toppings but there are so many ways they can dress it up or down. Going either way is satisfying as the ingredients are solid & rolls are authentic. Sides are great too! It’s in regular rotation as a treat for me and my family"

"I'd definitely come back to try it again..since my first experience here wasn't the greatest. I was recommended by a friend to go here and I was a little disappointed. Order The Slam Philly cheese steak and it looked like they were rationing the portions cause the sandwich wasn't even half full. My meatball on the other hand, requested to have Jalepeños and banana peppers, but they must've forgotten. Cheese half melted. It looked like it was just thrown on there. Small local place, though, some seating but not a whole lot, open kitchen. Not much else to say here, but this is why I give it only 3 stars."
