"Today I had a doctor's appointment at 1:15. I got to my appointment just after 1pm. After I filled out my paperwork, an older woman was checking out, and a short time later, I was called back. My appointment lasted almost an hour, by the time I checked out. As I was lea ING the building, the older woman was standing at the front of the lobby, looking out the window. When she saw me, she asked for the time. It was almost 2:15, and asked if she was waiting on a ride. She told me that this company was picking her up, but they were supposed to get her at 2. She also told me that the front desk had called, and they were told, she would be picked up between 1:45 and 2:15. She didn't have a cellphone, so I offered to call. I called at 2:16 and spoke to a very rude woman, with an accent, who told me, the driver was there at 1:51 and left at 1:56. She then proceeded to tell me, the drivers can show 15 mins before or after the pick up time and they only have to wait 5 mins. When I asked, why the driver didn't come get her, I was told they don't go in. I asked, how is the customer suppose to know the driver is there early, when the customer doesn't have a cellphone? I was the rudely told,"She knows the rules." The rude employee then tells me she has another driver and will pick this woman up at 2:45, or she can cancel it, if I am driving her. I told her not to cancel, hung up and went to speak to the front desk of the doctors office. The receptionist was great. At 2:40 she came outside and the two of us kept an eye out for the ride. By 2:52, the receptionist went inside and called theservice. She was told they didn'thave anyone going that way. That they would have someone there in 15 mins. She gave you all her cell, and had the older woman go inside so she could sit, get some water and wait. She also assured me, if the ride didn't come she would drive her home herself. How incompetent is this company? 1. You are dealing with people who don't have cell phones. 2. You refuse to get out of your car, bus, to go inside and let a person know you are there and 3.leave them stranded miles from home. You should be ashamed of your company. I know I am!"
