"I went in to buy my daughter a pass because she loves to play basketball and we were looking for a great indoor court. The woman at the front desk had no customer service skills and was rude, as if she was annoyed to have to look up from her desk and help someone. It reminded me of the attitude you would get from DMV workers back in the day. I was considering buying a family pass but instead I'll go back to the Wheat Ridge Rec Center."

"Lovely facility, excellent weight lifting equipment. Wonderful interior - wood grain highlights over concrete and steel give the building a very post-modern feel. Weight lifting equipment is the best at the four Lakewood rec centers, although this one does not have a pool. Moderate sized locker rooms with showers, scale, and plenty of available lockers. Not terribly busy for mid-afternoon but can get quite busy around dinner hour give or take. Recommend."
"Their gym is incredible and will have almost anything you need. Some of the fanciest machines I've ever seen, and plenty of free weights, they also have some odd ones like medicine balls and jump ropes and battles ropes, etc. As an athlete I love this place."
