"Came here with daughter who recommended it. Building is newer but appears to be older. Very cool. Jennifer was our waitress who was very friendly and helpful. I had Bistro Steak, wife and daughter had salads. We were all happy with our food taste and quality."

"Restaurant mgr horrible!! The owner, Christian, made my annual birthday reservation for me and my family on the phone for 2/9. Every year for my birthday, we eat at Miner's during my annual bday trip to the mountains. This year, for the first time in 10 yrs, my daughter, her husband, and my two twin grand daughters were driving up from Denver to join us for dinner. The restaurant Mgr, Janelle, approached the table to our right and accused that family of adjusting the heaters. A man at that table yelled back at her, "We haven't touched your heaters, lady!" Then she apologized to the couple behind our table for heater issues. Before leaving the patio area, she turned around, arms crossed and looked straight at me, and yelled, "So you are the people that were so hot that you had to remove your sweat shirts??!!" The entire dining room went silent. We all looked at each other in shock and confusion as we all dressed up that night, no one wearing sweat shirts, etc. I responded to her that I personally had switched seats w/someone due to the heaters blowing in my face, but other than that, we didn't know what she was talking about! My adult daughter stated that she didn't like the way she was looking at me; so angry. My young grand daughters became nervous thinking this lady was angry with them! We assured them that no one did anything wrong! The manager then walked away, and we paid our waitress and left, embarrassed and upset. When we got back to our hotel, our hotel manager stated that many people in town are familiar with Janelle's anger issues and how she treats customers. We spent $100's at the restaurant that night, and to be treated like that and ruining my birthday dinner for me and my family was horrible. As long as she stays manager at this restaurant, we will not be referring them to anyone, not on Google, Trip Advisor. Camping group sites or any other travel groups we belong to! The owner needs to understand that she is giving his business a bad name!"

"I can't say enough good stuff about this place.. Christian and his team are continuously providing some of the best food in the valley. Josie, Summer, and the amazing wait staff are phenomenal. Completely worth the trip. An absolute gem here in the valley. If you haven't been, you've missed out."

"Fantastic find! Thanks to the owner of the Red River Hotel for the recommendation. Quaint and welcomimg atmosphere, very rustic yet cozy as hecc! The service was amazing - kind, attentive, and experienced. My server was a champ and read me well ^.^ tha k you Summer! The food... OMG it was incredible. You can tell its all handmade and fresh af - gourmet and made with love and culinary expertise like it should be ya know? Conpliments to the cooks y'all killin it! Had a "sex-in-the-desert" martini - you guys... amazing, they give you a whole shakers worth of martini, this was a tequila one and it was faaaabulousssss!!!! Anyway thanks for the meal and the good time y'all - was feeling a little down tonight and everything made my night better. Much thanks, much love - keep up the good work ^.^ I'll be back next time I'm out this way!!"

"I have literally traveled the world at the ripe old age of 66 and I can honestly tell you this is one of the best restaurants I’ve ever eaten at. I had a big group of 15 of us on Saturday. They were very accommodating, I called in advance, and Christen - the owner called and recommended that I set at a different table, which is exactly the table we wanted, which was outstanding, but for him as the owner to call me the day before was pretty remarkable. We arrived for dinner, and again it was a big party. The service was fantastic. The food and atmosphere was unbelievable. We were there celebrating my new family and the Lord. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anybody and again this was the second time we’ve been there and I go up to the mountains from Denver at least once a month and I will be eating there again. Congrats to an outstanding staff that you’ve hired Christian and will see you soon."
