Good Love

"Aptly named. Just ate at Good Love for the first time since they opened and was blown away. I’m not in the habit of writing rave reviews for restaurants, but this one deserves it. This is food and drink done right, for foodies, by foodies. Cocktails (and even non-alcoholic cocktails!) were gorgeous, well prepared and flavorful with clean, high-quality ingredients - I’m talking house-made, fermented, spiced honey. Good luck getting a drink like this anywhere else on the western slope. And the food… the food!! I’m kind of a food snob and I haven’t had a meal that good in ages that wasn’t made in my own kitchen. Miraculously, the menu literally has something for everyone. Perfectly balanced, expertly seasoned and spiced, beautifully presented. Every ingredient well prepared. This chef truly has a gift. Best meal I’ve eaten anywhere in Colorado (including Denver), hands down. Atmosphere was intimate, laid back, friendly. Great music (not too loud), nice vibe. Ambient lighting (thank you!). Felt comfortable dressed up or down. Place was absolutely packed on a Friday night with people standing and waiting at the bar. Reservations highly recommended. Prepare to be wowed."

"Excellent food, excellent service, and wonderful atmosphere. This is a gem for Paonia. We got the chicken and waffles, and it was definitely enough to split. We paired it with the kale salad. Great for a date night, or a fancy drink."
