Addiction doesn't come to be due to lack of intelligence or character flaw. Everytime I went in I felt judged and left feeling more ashamed and hopeless than I did walking in. I've since gotten to a healthy place through a holistic approach. Working with professionals who both saw my dysfunction AND my worth helped me to see my value and remebering my value helped me to stop hurting myself. I found the approach with this professional to be counterproductive. It is uncomfortable for me to leave a 1-star review. It is important to me for others to who need help on this journey be able to access the right help."

"I recently ran into an issue with getting my prescription refilled. No one would listen to me and everyone (doctors office, pharmacy & insurance) we’re all laying blame on each other. They acted as if everything I was telling them was wrong and I didn’t know what I was talking about… even though the information I was providing, was information each of them were telling me. Day 3 and many hours on the phone later I got in contact with Emily who works in Dr. Gucfa’s office. She was the first person to take the time and listen to what I was saying. She understood the issue at hand was out of my control yet, I was the only one being affected. She was very understanding and compassionate and promised she would get the issue taken care of. Shortly after talking to Emily I received a call from Tina the clinic manager (i think) at Gucfa’s office and she was also very understanding and compassionate. It was Friday at 3:00 pm and she promised me she wouldn’t be leaving the office until she was able to get my meds filled. I felt so relieved after speaking with Tina, she validated my feeling/worries and made me feel she understood how important my meds were to my Mental Heath and continued to reassure me she would resolve the issue. Within a couple hours she was able to get with my insurance/Walgreens, get everything fixed and have my prescription filled. I couldn’t be more thankful for Emily and Tina. We need more Emily and Tina’s in this world. ❤️ I can’t thank them enough!"

"Everyone’s reviews scared me— But I met Dr. Gucfa today for an initial visit and my worries were put to rest. I wanted to place a review to cancel out some of the fake news here. He gathered plenty of information, explained what diagnosis was most appropriate based on the history gathered, and laid out a plan. He took the time to understand my unique situation, as an individual. He’s transparent and forthcoming, which may be ‘harsh’ to some people, but honestly that’s how medical professionals should be. He is respectful, professional and honest. Every person in the office was so sweet!"
