"One of the most beautifully decorated and comfortable hotels we have ever stayed in. If visiting Telluride, you need to stay here. Every detail was thought about in designing this historic hotel. Immediately upon entry, the service was exceptional. We were welcomed by several employees, grabbing the door and helping with our luggage. Our room wasn't ready, but they were happy to store our luggage so we could walk around town and ride the gondola. They called when room was ready. We were in room 204 looking over the main street. They had a humidifier and a white noise machine to drown out street noise, which was great. The room was beautiful and well appointed. Top of the line mattress and linens. The bed was so cozy. The bathroom floors were heated. I appreciated the deep bath tub, which I soaked in after a long, cold night of walking around. The decor, the carpet, paint color, and historic pieces were so impressive to us. Even the carpeting on the stairs and hallways looked brand new. The restaurant and bar area were amazing. We cannot wait to return. Thanks to all the staff for a great experience."
