"Staff was friendly and the place was lively. Unfortunately everything was bland. I’m most disappointed because I’m from the South and they ruined our cuisine lol. The potato salad was sweet and the homemade BBQ sauce was nothing but tomato sauce."
"This is the type of bar you go to for a quick drink after hitting the slopes. This is NOT the spot to go to for food. The sliders are questionable. Bread is soggy, meat is gross. Fries taste like hard freezer burn fries that have been coated with seasoning to “cover” the freezer burn taste. Don’t eat there. Drink, sure."
"As many others have commented, this is not really a BBQ place. I had the bbq chicken and the generic chicken I get at Whole Foods is juicier and tastier than this. My chicken was a bit tough and dry. It felt like I was eating yesterday's leftovers. The saving grace was the 3-burger slider. Those were actually a bit bigger than expected and they were not dry, but again, the bbq flavor was not there. Meh experience."
"Stopped in for a quick bite and some mid-afternoon libations. We were not disappointed. Staff was super friendly and quickly took care of us because we had hunger in our eyes when we walked in. Nachos were excellent."
"Food was good, service not so much. Staff was friendly, but getting their attention to get a dessert or the check was difficult. I finished my cider, and I was not asked if I wanted another. (Mind you, I have an open tab, so why not ask? How much do you want to bring in?) As I said the food was good. I got a half rack of ribs and a side of red beans and rice. For dessert, a slice of pecan pie. The ribs could have used a rub prior to being cooked and sauced, I think the rub would have added a bit of missing spice that the sauce didn't have. I did like the hearty pieces of peppers and onions in the sauce, though. Red beans and rice, again, need some seasoning. This is supposed to be a southern-inspired restaurant. The hot sauce on the table added what the red beans and rice were lacking. The pecan pie was properly warmed in an oven (evident by some slight crust blackening), served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. It was a good finish to the meal. If you don't mind being left alone by servers at a full-service establishment, this place may be your cup of tea. While food is really nothing spectacular, it was still good."
