Reviews
"This location has the worst customer service and rude employees. Based on reviews, management does not care. Today I was purchasing four bread items along with my other purchases. The young man at the checkout rudely said “You know these are three dollars right?,” while holding up my English muffins. I explained that I did not know that, but that I no longer wanted those items (knowing I can get the same thing at a grocery store cheaper.) He then rudely said “there’s signs back there.” I saw no such signs and told him so. The next items up were a loaf of bread and a pack of hamburger buns, and he gave me a dirty look and said the same thing about them costing $3.00. I found this shocking, I’ve always paid a $1.00 or $1.25 for these items at the dollar store and the gentleman behind me even said “I only paid $1.25 for my bread here.” I asked this young man to do a price check on the item, at which point he rudely said “I’m telling you!” (while shaking his head in what appeared to be disgust), He ringed up the item and it was $3.00 so I said, “I don’t want those items” and with a nasty attitude he put those items aside. I think this level of customer service is unacceptable, I literally asked this man to do his job by asking for a price check. What’s wrong with that? How difficult is it to run an item over the scanner and then delete it? I’ve worked as a cashier before, it’s not difficult to delete a scanned item. He just had a nasty attitude, but I guess I shouldn’t expect much from a young person, wearing a hat that had cat ears and black chipped nail polish (can’t even look a smidge professional??). It took ever fiber of my being not be nasty and rude back to him, but I maintained my integrity. I strive to always treat people with kindness and respect, a lesson this person could learn. My advice to management, hire better people and/or train them better. Nobody wants to be treated poorly when they’re spending money in your store."
"I know the few staff that do work there work hard to stock shelves just for people to go right behind them to destroy it. The homeless people have removed everything going thru the dumpsters and thrown it all everywhere making it to where waste management cannot pick it up. Maybe stop assuming it's all DT employees fault when it's actually everybody else"
"I've been here multiple times. This place recently opened in my neighborhood and it's already a trash haven. This place can do better... it JUST opened and it's already dirty, unorganized, and sometimes dangerous. They leave their trash plastic and boxes everywhere for the environment and local animals to suck up. How sad."
"Very organized and well stocked. Had been to a busier Dollar Tree store that was "sort of in shambles" with illogically placed inventory. The staff here really takes times to stock, organize and clean. I hope this convenient location stays open, it isn't as busy as some other Dollar Trees"
"So products are no longer a dollar so the name of the store is now a lie. At least at Family Dollar you can still find some products for a dollar where as here the prices start at 1.25. They also have the same products for the most and the message from corporate about the improved products being the reason for higher prices has not happened. At the same time this specific dollar store has different products then the others. It was that way even before the price hike."
