"Professional and honest. My case was extremely contentious, and Jennifer was honest and up front with me about my chances of success. She was ultimately respectful of pursuing the course of action I wanted, and things were resolved favorably. I appreciated her candor, as well as her conscientiousness in saving me money. I would absolutely recommend her."
"I would give negative stars if I could. I hope everyone who considers using this law firm sees all of the warnings in regards, especially mine. I do not appreciate throwing dirt on an organization's name, but in this case, it is about accountability and truthfulness and many other ethics and virtues about which this organization is clearly ignorant. Please do not waste your precious time, energy, or money even *thinking* about using this law firm. They are completely unprofessional and the very definition of malpractice. They do not "work" your case appropriately nor, dare I say, legally in any regard. They blatantly disregard specific Colorado laws, regulations and statutes and manipulate these to favor them as a law firm. When researching Colorado law, several concerns and questions were brought up but they expressed they were inapplicable when indeed that was far from the truth. They have basically gotten away with screwing people over. There is terrible communication between all who work at the firm, which causes an awful headache. They mixed up paperwork a countless number of times. They will lie to your face, and, in this case specifically, they will not fight for you at all. It appeared that they were fighting for the other party! They will try (do not let them succeed!) to get you to make unreasonable agreements and settlements with the other party's lawyers before meeting with a judge, and of course, all favoring the other party. In this specific case, they intentionally forced the case to continue for over a year and half (an absolutely unfathomable time) when it could have been resolved within the amount of time Colorado requires, which is 90 days. It is believed they did this to milk their client's money. Secondly, for this pitiable "service", their rates in themselves are grossly overcharged. They will nickle and dime you for everything and charge you for ridiculous items such as receiving emails, phone calls and the shortest communication *from you as the client*, let alone what they charge for communicating with you as a client and "working" your case. They will also charge an insane 18% interest on invoices paid "late" when they were never sent, or even when they were paid on time. The debt accrued from this case is completely mindblowing. Needless to say, they were fired and were not even permitted to continue with the case. The new lawyers were angrily perplexed with the parenting plan this firm had drawn up and said it was terrible. Again, please, please do not waste your precious time, energy, or money even *thinking* about using this law firm! Please stay away!"
"Melissa has been a godsend to my family. While we can’t control the outcomes in court I do trust that she has the best interest of myself and my family in her heart and that’s how she leads her practice. She is realistic, fair and does not rip you off like some. I am so thankful I found her and refer literally every person in need to her."
"Melissa took on my custody case after a very messy divorce where a prior attorney had kind of screwed me over due to him and a judge not getting along. I was an absolute mess and ridiculous. Melissa and Heather both walked me off the ledge more than once. They continued to put up with my emotions and help me keep my composure more than they should have. They ultimately are the reason I have full custody of my daughter today and I do not have enough words to thank them for their hard work and kindness while helping me through one of the hardest parts of my life."
"Her paralegal, who will be your lawyer, tried to gaslight me and told.me I was being too emotional because of a domestic disturbance. And she was 4 hours late to our meeting. When she met my husband. She told me she couldn't understand why I had a problem with him because " He was nice with me" I tried to explain to her that he's like that. "Why would he treat you like someone he abused?" She made me feel like it was all me. And then asked when HE can get his stuff? I fired them"
