"This place was highly rated and I am very careful when ordering sushi, so I figured I'd pick the best. It didn't disappoint me one bit in terms of food and service. They have several vegetarian rolls, the sweet potato roll is delicious. Avocado looked fresh and my miso soup had several chunks of tofu though the portion was very small - half the plastic container. I would say that the atmosphere is not too appealing. Inside the restaurant seems like a small room and it's difficult to have a quiet conversation. Outside the restaurant isn't good either, the area seems a bit sketchy, many people smoking outside and the liquor store next to it doesn't help the area. So, for takeouts it's great, but I wouldn't recommend it for dine-in."
"Locally owned restaurants are often the best. In eastern Colorado Springs you have to hunt a bit to get away from the chains, but Osae Sushi is well worth it. Osea is located in a tiny strip mall on the eastern side of town. It's an unassuming location you can easily miss - trust me you don't want to miss this place. The staff are top notch - as soon as you walk through the door you're greeted warmly. The excellent service continues through your entire meal. The menu is enormous - so many options it's hard to choose. My friend had a ramen bowl that he loved. The sushi rolls I had excellent. Prices are very reasonable for sushi - we had 2 appetizers, a ramen bowl, and several sushi roles and our final bill was around $50."
"Plenty of options in the menu, both with raw fish and without. The salmon lovers was fantastic, full of salmon in and out. Their sushi in general is good and filling. The service is also really good, especially to refill our drinks."
"Would give 5 stars but, it's a little pricey. The green tea cheesecake was really good but very very small. The food was good as well and they have LOTS of options for cooked sushi, uncooked, & non sushi menu items. I enjoyed how much variety they have. If you don't love sushi, there are sooo many other options for you, which is really nice. The staff was very nice and accommodating. Will definitely be returning and trying something different but if you're only going for sushi, it is a bit on the high end price wise in my opinion. Also we went around lunchtime on a Monday and because it's so close to Peterson, there were a lot of service members there which made it EXTREMELY loud. Couldn't hear any music just constant loud chattering. Not a big deal, just worth mentioning."
