"Food was excellent as we enjoyed some fresh appetizers and main dishes. One of had the steak and chicken hibachi meal while I had the tropical fried rice. We are looking forward to coming back for the actual hibachi experience at one of the grills, but the dish (not made in front of us) was great. The fried rice was was full of shrimp, chicken and pineapple. All seasoned with curry. It was pretty spicy for requesting mild, but it was delicious. The seating area is a little dated and could use some TLC along with the entrance. Was surprised because they had been closed for remodeling, but this may have been for the kitchen area. All in all, I recommend this place as a solid choice for Asian cuisine. Prices were ok. Not crazy high or in the great deal spectrum. The fried rice dish was enough for 2 meals. This also is a good carry out option and that seemed to cover most of their business on our early Sunday lunch visit."
"Food was great! Hibachi appetizers (salads and miso soup) were very good. The entree, fried rice, and udon were also very good and our waitress was very attentive to our needs, giving us refills often and checking up on us without us needing to ask. When the waitress was unavailable the other staff took care of us and the owner was very nice."
"I've lived in monument for years and very sparingly attend this restaurant. Before COVID, their food actually used to be pretty good and the sushi decent.... Now I won't order sushi from here at all. I tried ordering pad Thai recently and the chicken was so off you could smell it even after it was cooked. I refused to eat it and focused on other parts of my meal. In my opinion dining in is much better than ordering take out here... But don't rely on this location as a go to sushi spot or for the advertised Thai dishes. There's much better options nearby. I really hate to give bad reviews and actually never do, so this is saddening for me to report."
"Fuji Mountain has become one of our Favorite Restaurants here in Monument Colorado. They are great for many occasions, we had family in town for the holiday and loved the Chef making fresh stir fry right in front of you. They are fun and entertaining. I love the interactive time you have with their local chefs. When the flames shoot high it is fun and exciting. It is located at 16064 Jackson Creek Parkway, Monument, CO, 80132. My wife and I often stop in for an affordable fresh lunch. The lunch box includes sushi, crab won ton, egg drop soup, fresh salad with ginger dressing, and a variety of beef, chicken, salmon, and scallop's. The food comes out fresh and hot. I have tried the sushi rolls as well and they are fantastic. Recently I have met clients there, friends from church and family there. It is family friendly, and handicap accessible. There is hot tea, soft drinks, or a variety of alcohol selections to meet everyone's needs. The staff is friendly and attentive. The dirty dishes are removed from in front of you, refills come often and they check to see if everything is prepared to your expectations. I would highly recommend Fuji mountain for takeout, dining in and any special occasion. Fresh delicious food at an affordable price. The flame flying off the grill for shrimp/ scallops, and Habacci Steak was fantastic tonight. Always a fun family night."
"We've been ordering from Fuji Mountain for over 7 years and initially LOVED this place. Since the pandemic the quality of the food and the service has gone downhill significantly. We have severe mushroom allergies in the family and always annotate that in all caps. On multiple occasions we have gotten mushrooms in our food, and once even had the manager argue with us. I demanded he come back to our house to pick up the dish and only then acknowledge that we were right. Since then our delivery service has been spotty. Last night's order was the straw that broke the camel's back and we will never order from there again. The rolls not good, the tuna sashimi was so fishy it was inedible and the salad was nothing more than a handful of wet lettuce with a single lame slice of tomato. All of this was $54...so not worth it. I ordered extra ginger sauce and extra peanut sauce, neither of which showed up and there was not soy sauce or utensils. Very disappointing. Planning to find another sushi spot in town because this isn't worth the time and/or aggravation."
