"Celebrate if your future ex-spouse hires Kyle McFarlane, as she represented mine. You’re halfway to winning. In my experience, from the other side of the table, Ms. McFarlane seemed unprepared and sloppy, making several mistakes. I would not recommend hiring her. She and my ex seemed unprepared for mediation. With my attorney (who had 25+ years experience), I went over various financial scenarios of settlement and outcomes had we proceeded to trial. We were prepared. With the mutually agreed, mediated settlement, I successfully walked with much more of marital estate than anticipated (50+%), well above any scenario I gamed-out with my attorney. What was additionally embarrassing for Ms. McFarlane (and my ex, for that matter), she misspelled “judicial” and “recusal” her motion for judicial recusal filed with the court. The motion was poorly written, in addition to the sloppy typos. She did not appear to be the most careful advocate, particularly when the stakes were high."

"After working with Kyle for over a year it was apparent her only goal was to bill me. Her and her team were extremely rude constantly and made me feel uncomfortable. If your looking for an attorney that is communicative please turn away. She is rude and disrespectful along with her team. I was accused of lying and my main objective; getting visitation rights with my daughter was never a goal whatsoever. After being told week after week that she was trying to communicate with my ex wife’s attorney to get those rights she wasn’t. I was told by my ex wife’s attorney to take her to bar and that she does not deserve a dime of my money. Not what you want to here from the attorney your going against. On top of everything she could not even keep track of insurance proceeds that were supposed to be in her escrow. She was clueless as to where the funds were and that’s scary. I have all the emails to back this statement up incase anyone thinks this is a false claim. Please do not go here. I also caught her paralegal and Kyle laughing at me on the phone multiple times. I’m embarrassed and ashamed. She cost me time that could have been with my daughter. Because of her I found myself in tears because of how I was treated."
