"Nice little four acre open space along Cheyenne creek. But I sure would like to know why this park seems to have been abandoned by the city, the community, and the historical preservation association. I am new to town and found this spot by accident. I could tell it used to have more going on so I looked it up on internet when I got home. Turns out as recently as three years ago this was the sight of a thriving community garden, interpretive programs, and a restoration project of the historic buildings. Now it is just a four acre abandoned plot and abandoned buildings. It's a nice quit spot to enjoy the creek but it is a shame it isn't still a thriving multifaceted park."
