Reviews of Mary Ewing Law
"I hired Mary on several small matters she is intelligent and clever, my former lawyer of 45 years, who retired, said she is the best in town. I concur with his opinion. Mary is fair but very tough."
"I have used Mary for many years for things such as child custody, work comp issues, and my car accident. I refer her office constantly to people who need legal help. In my opinion she is the best lawyer in Colorado. Even her peer rated reviews are excellent on martindale.com!"
"My wife was in a feeway pileup was insured by American family, suffered neck injuries, and to this day suffers .Mary wanted to charge me $3000 to go to court and sue the insurance company then settled for a low offer which didn't pay medical bills for my wife's injuries, my wife had to pay, after settling for 12 k I cannot say how much this law firm hurt our family! This is not the way to treat an injured client, I asked my wife if I could turn Mary Ewing into the insurance commiioner inain Colorado, file a case against Mary but my wife said Mary will be judged accordingly. Do not hire an attorney unless absolutely nessessary!"
"I needed a lawyer to just review a Tort Claim I was filing in Federal District Court. I emailed them, and called them, but nobody bothered to respond whatsoever. Even if they were not interested, they should have at least had the professional courteousy of responding to a potential client."
"The only good thing i can say is that Craig returned the call the next day. we scheduled a call for the following day at 8:30am Craig promptly took the call as scheduled. When you 'interview and attorney', you are determining their qualifications to represent you. As a prospective client beware of the practice this firm uses to charge you before either of you can determine they can take your case. Don't fall for the 'doctor analogy' sales pitch of 'a doctor wont diagnose you over the phone without charging you'. Craig didn't even hear my case, or my merits of defense before he wanted me to come in and start his hourly clock. This type of sales pitch tries to get you to commit to service, before they even hear your case and/or tell you they have a strategy. If you were to fall for this tactic, you could spend thousands only to find out that they can't properly defend you. By then, you spent money you could have invested in counsel that can actually/effectively represent you. I told Craig that i wanted to 10 minutes to explain my case and my idea of defense to determine if he saw its merit. He declined, and gave me the 'doctors office' analogy. If you follow their procedure you will spend thousands of dollars interviewing attorneys. You are the client, they are selling their services to you. If they cannot give you a half hour to an hour marketing/selling their abilities to you, they're not worth it. I include a screenshot depicting that our call lasted just under 20 minutes."
