"I like Popeyes at least the one in South Aurora or South Denver however the one in Castle Rock is not maintaining their standards. I try to rate things on what should be expected and not putting exceedingly high standards on a fast food restaurant. Upon ordering they were out of red beans and rice along with mac and cheese. My dinner came with two sides but there's no discount for only taking one. And something reasonable like substituting a drink is not allowed either. Maintaining some hope I finished my order went to get my drink to find out one of their machines is broken and the other both the root beer and the orange taste it funny. The drink counter has a great big hole in it filled with duct tape, 30 boxes of trash soda dispenser boxes stacked on the back of the cabinet. See the picture. Fire exits are also not very important as the dining room exit closest to the drive-thru is stacked with supplies napkins food wrappers no longer a fire exit but a store room. I believe this restaurant has some serious management issues. They may be revenue issues link to poor management, reduced traffic because of the poor quality of the food and conditions. Okay time has come My food has arrived. I basically ordered two chicken thighs, but due to the menu layout it cost me 10 bucks. It seems the oil was old My chicken breading was greasy and dark. The chicken pieces were some of the smallest I've seen in a long time. I'm afraid this Popeyes restaurant is headed down Kentucky fried chicken's path to obsolescence."

"Literally stopped here for a super quick bite traveling between the airport and Colorado Springs. Not the cleanest restaurant in the world, but not the worst. Food was served quickly, but wasn't great. Not the fault of the people who work in this location."

"What we ordered was not what we received. However, that was not the biggest problem. The red beans and rice that my wife and I ordered were 'sour' as if they had been out most of the day. It was later in the night and we had just arrived at our hotel, so there was no going back to return them. Double check your orders here for your own peace of mind."

"I have to admit, we’ve been a bit taken back by so many negative reviews. We have lived in Castle Rock for nearly 2 years and have always loved Popeyes. Nevertheless, we have somewhat stayed clear of this location due to the reviews we had read. — However, I was really craving some spicy chicken, my wife felt the same, and the kids really wanted to try their chicken strips. So, we went ahead and ordered everything online for pickup. The online ordering process was made extremely easy/user-friendly. There is a point system, rewards, discounts, specials, etc. When we actually arrived at the drive-through, there were about five cars in front of us, and the line went extremely fast. We maybe waited for all of 5-7 minutes. When we got to the window, our pre-placed order was ready to go, hot, and included everything exactly as we ordered it. When we brought it home and opened it, the food was still extremely crispy, hot, appetizing, and exactly as we could have hoped; particularly the cajun fries which is rare from “any” fast food restaurant we bring home. The service was terrific with our brief encounter, I highly recommend pickup based on our experience. Although, yes, the same could be said about mine; nevertheless, this just goes to show you can’t always, trust every review you read online. This location had terrific food, service, atmosphere, taste, and price. For reference, we ordered the following: 1.) Classic Chicken Sandwich 2.) "I got the #1 combo. Pretty great sandwich and mashed potatoes. I was bummed that it didn't come with a biscuit even though the menu says that all the combos come with one. There's some very small text that says the #1 combo is excluded... Pretty lame. Employees were nice. Food came out fast. I was the only person in the restaurant."
