Museum of Contemporary Art Denver

"Smaller art gallery with 2 floors and a rooftop bar/patio. The art rotates every quarter (I think) and ranges from beautiful to bizarre. You’ll need only about an hour to walk the entire museum and see everything. Parking nearby is limited."

"In Denver for a conference and saw the ads for the Cowboy exhibit. It did not disappoint. The museum is small but well laid out and the exhibit was very good. The staff was excellent and engaged us. It is clear they have a passion for being there and the gift shop featured unique items that showcased the art and Denver. Highly recommended!"

"Love this museum! They hooked me with Dirty South and reeled me in for Cowboy. This museum gives airplay for divergent and diverse perspectives with Cowboy and similar exhibitions that feature work from queer, gay, minority and indigenous artists. Thanks for showing us new ideas and ways of seeing our shared world. The signage in the museum is great and the explanations of the art invaluable but maybe the following could be a touch larger? Can’t wait to see what comes next. :)"

"Great architecture! I really liked the Cowboy exhibition. I didn’t know a lot of the things about the genre and it was quite informative. I just wanted to see more Art/exhibitions. The roof top was super pretty and we spent a lot of time there, talking and sipping on lemonade. I might visit again when I’m in Denver to see what new exhibition they have. All in all, a good experience!"
