"Went in to get my subwoofer and amplifier installed in my 2016 Honda CR-V. I had to purchase wiring and a converter for my stock head unit, roughly $150 in parts. Standard labor for installation is $250, but I was charged an additional $100 in labor for the converter. I’ve installed my own subs in cars before, and know that a converter takes just a few minutes to hook up so, to me, $100 additional for labor seems incredibly steep. The turnaround time was great, in and out of the shop in under an hour - 4 stars instead of 5 for the cost of labor. EDIT: Removing an additional star for what seems to be an automated response from the “manager”. Go to a different shop if you want lower prices and a more personal touch."

"This is my 5th car that I have taken to Car Toys. I recently moved from Denver to the Springs and I have to say this last trip to the North Academy store was by far the most pleasant experience. I had my windows tinted and a remote start put in. Josh was professional, responsive and super helpful. He actually got me in a day early which was awesome. The end results are always great and I love that Car Toys stands by their work with a lifetime warranty. I am already looking forward to my next trip to this store to get the stereo upgraded. "Had them install a trailer brake controller and a 7 way trailer plug on my pickup. They accepted the job said they’ve done it before and said I just had to supply parts. Got the truck back took it and hooked up trailer. Everything worked great except there was no markers on the trailers. The trailer wiring is correct and fine works on all my other pickups. Took the truck back with the trailer to have them correct their wiring issue. The salesman decided to hear only what he wanted to hear and argue with me saying they didn’t install the plug and that it wasn’t their problem. Got a full refund due to his incompetence and bad attitude. Was not upset about it until the salesman started giving me an attitude and arguing with me. Point is they accepted the job and then when they did it incorrectly they wouldn’t take responsibility for their mistakes and wanted to argue rather than make it right. They gave me a refund simply because they realized I wasn’t going to let it go or just drop the issue until they fixed it. So rather than fix their work they refunded me. Very poor customer service on their part."

"I had a new stereo installed at another location and every time I called them with an issue they would make it as my fault and cost me more money when I went in. This time in the Springs I went in and they sad we will replace your stereo without any further cost. Great people and great customer service! Charles was a great and helpful installer.
