"Called in to ask for a front license plate bracket. I was willing to pay for it. Was rude and then asked who my sales person was, and then transferred me to the game GSM. Sales team and management is 5 stars. Service 1 star. I then called peak kia and they were so helpful"
"I had a service appointment on 2/16/24 for my mother's Kia Sorento, for which she paid for a full service and got the anti-theft software installed. We picked up my mom's car an hour after it was dropped off, which was odd because they usually take hours (first red flag). But to my surprise, my mom's tire light was still on, which gave me another red flag, so I got home and inspected her vehicle. The fluids were not even topped off or checked. She didn't even receive a courtesy car wash or vacuum. The funny thing is her tires on the report, including her windshield wipers, said they passed inspection. Her windshield wipers were so old the back wiper still said KIA on it, so it must have been the original from 2013. Long story short, I had to fill her tires, top off her fluids, and buy her new windshield wipers. The reason this infuriates me is for several reasons; one, she is old and disabled, and she cannot drive an unsafe vehicle. KIA passed everything and said it was all green to go. It makes me wonder if anything they said they did get done. Is there anti-theft software? My other Kia was broken into, and they won't even replace my daughter's key FOB. I will NEVER repurchase another KIA or bring my mom's car back for service. It makes you wonder what you are paying for and how many other concerns they CUT. Shame on you, KIA! It says directly on the report that these things were, IN FACT, completed and passed inspection. Please look at the pictures and tell me they were quality to pass. Mind you, pictures are time-stamped, so there are no falsifications on my END... Completely unacceptable."
"Wow! I had an issue 2 previous shops couldn't diagnose. I took my car here and was blown away by the service. Lee was my service rep and I've never had better car service in my life! Options for a ride home, constant and effective communication, warm personality, extremely competent, transparency on my issue and prices, and so much more. I am so impressed by the professionalism here and my repair ended up being $78 cheaper than the nearest shop WITH OEM parts! I will be back for any service in the future!"
"If I could give them 0 stars, I would. Avoid this dealership at all costs. I had an appointment with the service department today to have my 2023 Sorrento serviced. There was a pulsation in the brakes and it was due for it's scheduled maintenance. I gave the service advisor, Lee, my cell phone number so he would be able to contact me instead of my wife because she was working. I dropped my car off and expected to hear from Kia with updates. After 3 hours of not hearing anything, I tried calling the dealership multiple times. Each time I called, nobody answered and I was forwarded to a messaging service. Finally, I reached out to my wife and she said she received a message from the advisor stating that she would receive a video inspection from the technician and that once the service was complete we would receive a copy of the invoice and option to pay online. She could also reach him directly by texting him back. I got the phone number of the advisor from my wife and sent him multiple messages without a response. Since I was not able to contact the dealership or the advisor, I paid for an Uber to take me to the dealership so I could find out what was going on with my vehicle. Keep in mind that complimentary shuttle service is supposed to be provided by the service department. When I arrived at the dealership, I was informed that the pads or rotors were warping and needed to be replaced and the advisor was waiting for a reply from us to proceed. It is hard to reply to someone, when you don't receive communication from them. When we purchased the vehicle 10 months ago, we were told by the finance department that the vehicle had complete bumper to bumper coverage on the vehicle for 100,000 miles. I asked the finance rep multiple times if it was truly bumper to bumper with no out of pocket expense and he assured me each time that there would be no costs to us for 100,000 miles. Today, we found out that he misinformed us. The brakes are not covered under the warranty and we would be responible for the expense of the repair. Either the finance rep did not understand what bumper to bumper was or he was misleading us. Either way, it is very unprofessional to misrepresent the product you are selling. I have a hard time believing that there isn't a defect in the brakes or rotors because we have only driven the vehicle 12,000 miles. We have not had any issues with brakes or rotors on any of the other 7 vehicles we have owned. It makes me question the quality of the product Kia is selling. It didn't seem like anyone at the dealership truly cared about the problems that I experienced today as there was no resolution presented other than to provide information as to what is covered and not covered under the warranty. If you are shopping for vehicle, I would be cautious about purchasing from Phil Long Kia."
