"My husband and I stopped in Monticello for a night on a road trip and we needed something to fill up on. Not only do I recommend this town as a stop or even a stay with AMAZING views but also this spot Ja Roen had the BEST sushi my husband and I have had in a VERY long time! We were told the food was so well made and delicious due to their 25 years of from Thailand experience! It definitely showed in their food, the restaurant atmosphere, and the WARMEST welcome we have had anywhere! Please PLEASE if you are near enough of Monticello, UT stop by JaRoen for your next meal you will not regret it!!! My husband and I have had sushi in almost 25 states and this was by far the best we have had!!!"

"Thank goodness this place was open. Not much to choose from on a Sunday in Monticello. Ordered chicken fried rice, hot. Boy, was it HOT! Very good, tho."

"I can't believe we haven't come here once the past three years until this time. We did a sit-down meal there. We both had drunken noodles but shrimp and pork. We ordered medium spicy and that was a little strong for us and we enjoy spicy food. With the temperature of was strong. The food was ABSOLUTELY delicious! It was so so so good that we did a take out the next day... and this time we got mild spicy. I also ordered sticky rice with mango for take out and that too was good. They serve their food in takeout containers and that's just ingenious! When you are done just close the lid, pay, and go. This is due to the covid policy but definitely smart idea! We'll surely be back again some time next year!"
