Sam's Club Tire & Battery

"Long review....We had tires installed in August 2022. All went well. In April 2023 we got a flat on the rear driver side tire. Called and made an appointment for the next day at 11:00. Arrived for the appointment at 10:55 and there were no associates available. I used the QR code 3 times to call for an associate with none arriving. At 11:05 another gentlemen arrived and said he stopped by at 10:00 and was told to come back at 11:00. A second gentlemen arrived. He said he had a 10:00 appointment and was told to come back at 11:00. The first gentlemen grabbed an regular Sam's Club associate from the member services desk. She was very professional and attempted to contact the appropriate associates. All of the tire service employees called out and we're not available. I was told that I would have to come back tomorrow. The associate did not have access to the computer to make an appointment, so there was no guarantee I would have my vehicle serviced. I ended up going to another tire shop and they could not service the tires because the tires originally installed at Sam's Club " do not meet the load requirements for the vehicle." So, instead of replacing one blown tire, I'm now replacing all four. If only zero stars was an option. Horrible service and will not be going back."

"In 2020 my new tires were incorrectly mounted and balanced at this location in Castle Rock causing a bad steering vibration. Went back and they re-balanced. The problem was less but still pretty bad. Took the car to a different Sam's Club and they discovered the old weights had never been removed when the new tires were mounted. They pulled off all the weights and rebalanced. That greatly improved things but there was still a slight vibration that wasn't there before, perhaps because they didn't do a full remount."

"Avoid this location for tires till they train the employees properly. 2.5 hours for a set of tires to be installed and I was the only customer there. At the end tires need to be reinstalled and rebalanced. The employee was honest that the weights could not be installed properly and upon inspection they fell off in the parking lot. I was given a $40 gift card for my time wasted but now I can't safely use the car and need to find a place to balance and install them. Horrible experience but I blame management for lack of proper training and using subpar stick on weights instead of proper lead clamp ons for balancing."

"Angelina in the tire department was amazing. She also saved me money on installation by having me purchase the plus membership. I will be buying all my tires in the future from her!"

"First off, I’ll say that this review is directed at this specific location and the Tire and Battery department, not all Sam’s clubs or other departments. I came in about a week ago and they price matched tires with Costco, and after I made my payment the technician, AJ, tried to order the Michelin Defender tires, their system wouldn’t allow him to. He tried to get with corporate over the next couple of days to secure a set from another location. Unfortunately, they couldn’t get them, but he was able to get me a comparable set and saved me some money. AJ also went above and beyond and talked with his supervisor and also got me a gift card for the inconvenience. If you ever need tires go here and ask for AJ."
