"I could have sworn I gave this place 5 stars already, but it really deserves it twice. Discount Tire has never let me down. Their service is 6 out of 5 and always leaves me happy. The people here work very hard to get through alot of work quickly. I always appreciate the business even if I'm stressed out with a flat."

"They inflated tires to four different PSI levels then didn't install one of my lug nuts or got the torque wrong and it fell off?! Haha no idea how they accomplished this, not going back here if they paid me. Enjoy my lug nut"

"Currently a 'customers last' approach. Laziness disguised by excuses shines at this location by the employee I spoke to. The store owner at the Lafayette location has a culture problem. I called and spoke to Br**den about 3 hours prior to visiting and said I'd like to stop by for a rotation after some meetings. He said not a problem. I then called 10 minutes prior to being there and again spoke to Br**den. He said to just come on over. I told him I'd be there in 10 minutes. I got there in 12 minutes. It's 5:28pm when I walk in. There's one customer waiting in the lobby for his car and there's one car in the bay getting worked on (makes sense). Several employees standing around. Br**den greets me and I tell him I'm there to get a rotation done. He looks at me and tells me that at this point in the day he's going to need to set me up for an appointment to come another time. Puzzled, I look out and see several open bays and several employees standing around. I tell him I spoke to him literally 10 minutes ago and said I was heading over. He said 'I've got to keep my guys safe and get them home on time.' This was 32 minutes prior to closing and employees waiting around without work to do. I got the message loud and clear. I said 'okay, fine, forget it' and then he begrudgingly asked for my phone number. This is a culture problem. I'm confident that this situation must happen frequently and customers just take it because they don't want to be confrontational. If the owner of the Lafayette location is reading this- you have a problem and you need to send some random folks in there to assess how they're treated by staff for certain scenarios. Clearly, the problem I ran into was an unwillingness to work towards the end of the work day. Don't tolerate staff that cares more about getting the heck out of there ASAP at the end of each day. Create a policy that eliminates the customer-facing employees from unilaterally determining when to stop taking customers based on their feelings. If they hate their job, it'll show in how they treat customers. This review is a case & point of that. Now you know."

"I was very happy I chose this shop to purchase and install my tires! Everyone was very friendly and helpful during every step of the way. Not only did everything go smoothly, but the install only took 20 minutes when I was told it may be up to an hour but probably less than. Excellent work by all, thank you!"
