"First and foremost our server was awesome! Secondly the pizza was pretty good! We went because they said it was sourdough crust and it was a pretty good crust! We got two of the Detroit style pizzas and they were cooked perfectly. The only thing I didn't like was all the cheese crips on the edges of the crust. It was a bit much. I would eat the pizza again for sure but probably won't go out of my way to go here. The salad we had was great and it was perfectly coated with dressing and cheese. The croutons were amazing! The garlic cheese bread app was not good. Something about that sauce just wasn't good. It also made me a little sick to my stomach. Definitely won't order that again. Now the bad was the bathroom. My wife and I both had to use the restroom. They only appeared to have one bathroom and it was disgusting. Covered in TP and pee. No paper towels and you had to use the grossly covered door handle to leave, that while standing in line I witnessed a couple people not even wash their hands. My wife ended up holding it the entire time we ate."

"Great spot for a pizza and beer. Got the classic newyork style pizza and a few 3 oz beers. The 3 oz's gave me a chance to try out a few different beers and they didn't hit the wallet too bad at $5 or less per beer. Definitely check it out if you're in town."

"I love Hops and Pie, when I'm in town, I go. Luckily we got in just before the evening crowd. Added bonus was the leftover beer selection from the Great American Beer Festival, Tap Takeover. I started to get a little worried when my companions pizza and sandwich arrived, but not mine - but then, all was revealed.. Detroit style sourdough.. see photo. Well worth a few minutes with a cold beer."
