"Me and my wife were doing some site seeing and mountain biking around the Durango area when our Ford 6.0 diesel broke down climbing a steep grade. It was a Friday on a holiday evening and we were on the phone trying to find any shop that would get us back on the road fast. There was no shop open in the surrounding areas that could even look at my truck for at least a month. We actually found Dusty through the U-Haul store desk clerk who knew of Dusty. From the moment my wife contacted him I knew this was the man I wanted to work on my truck. He was asking all the right questions and talked to my wife like a human being instead of like some other shops we have been to. He said he was busy with some tow work and if we didn't mind him working on it between calls then he would be happy to help us out, DEAL! We got dropped off at his yard and he called us to keep us updated between jobs and when he arrived he immediately jumped into action diagnosing the truck. He let us stay there in our slide in truck camper while he worked on truck and ordered parts and put us back together. I am a mechanic myself, but this is my first diesel and Dusty showed me what went wrong and why. The previous shop I used didn't tell me of all the messed up things were going on in my engine bay and they even caused some damage to new parts they installed. He ended up finding that the previous shop forgot to install a tiny little copper washer on my injector that caused the whole truck to shut down 900 miles later. He even taught me enough to make me feel more comfortable with diesels. Me and my wife actually enjoyed our experience because Dusty made us feel like a family friend just doing a favor. His work was great, his family was awesome, and I would give him any future business if I lived in the area. I do plan on going back to the Durango area next summer and I have his number programed into my phone for when my old truck breaks down again. You can't go wrong with a small business owner like Dusty that takes real pride in his craft and has the best customer service in an industry dominated by old crusty jerks just trying to make a buck."

"Dusty Pierce responded to a call from Mercedes Roadside Service after they left me stranded with a completely flat tire for over 16 hours. He was on time, great communication, knowledgeable, explained where the tire was damaged in the side wall and carefully replaced all the spare tire parts, lugs, etc. It is rare to meet someone who is so gracious and helpful and genuinely kind. I am from out of town but I will be calling Dusty if similar needs arise in the future when visiting family here. Thank you again for exceptional service."
