Dr. Robert Fornoff is a pediatrician at Des Moines Pediatric and Adolescent Clinic in Ankeny, Iowa. He has been with the clinic since 2004 and specializes in asthma, sports medicine, mental health, and newborn care. Dr. Fornoff received his medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School and completed his residency at Blank Children’s Hospital in Des Moines. She is dedicated to serving her community through both her clinical work and volunteer activities.

Amanda Ostergaard is a board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner who has a passion for helping families with newborn care and breastfeeding. She enjoys working with patients of all ages and loves the developmental stages of pediatrics. Amanda is a mother to three children and is actively involved in her community through volunteering and school activities.

Lauren Ropp is a Family Nurse Practitioner who joined the team at Des Moines Pediatric and Adolescent Clinic in 2021. She has a background in pediatric nursing and has a passion for caring for patients of all ages. Lauren enjoys watching her patients grow and assisting them with their healthcare needs. She is a mother of four boys and enjoys camping, spending time with family, and supporting the Cyclones.

Sally Twedt is a board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of experience. She has a passion for providing individualized care to her patients and enjoys watching them grow from infancy to young adulthood. Sally believes in the importance of family dynamics in patient care and is dedicated to serving the pediatric population.

Sarah Barnhart is a board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner who joined the clinic in 2019. She has a background in NICU nursing and specializes in caring for newborns and young children. Sarah believes in a holistic approach to patient care and enjoys helping new parents navigate their roles. She is a Des Moines native and is dedicated to serving her hometown community.
