Mineshaft Bar, Restaurant, and Pizzeria 125 3rd Avenue, Ouray, CO 81427

"We had such high hopes for this restaurant. My husband had the half pound burger and onion rings ($14.99 + $3.50) and I had the fish fry ($15.99). Pros: It was convenient, prepared in less than an hour, looked decent and was edible. The gentleman that delivered our food was polite and professional. The venue was above average. Cons: The ordering process was convoluted. I had to stop by three different locations before I was able to place an order. My husband’s burger was burnt and the onion rings he received were more like a pile of onion garnishment rather than onion rings. My fish was pretty meh. The batter fell off the fish leaving me with plain fish, greasy fish batter and average fries. The tarter sauce was above average. I am hoping this was just an off day because this place has so much potential. Would I go out of my way to eat here? Hard pass due to lack of quality for the price. Will I eat here again in the future? It is convenient for families staying at Twin Peaks. It could have been an off day."

"Food was decent. I wasn't a fan of the spinach artichoke dip, it had an Italian spin with a lot of onion in it. It also wasn't mixed well. But the soup and salad (with pomegranate vinaigrette) was good. As was the fried chicken and coleslaw. Fries were decent. Wasn't super cheap or anything special, but it was convenient for us since we were staying at the resort."

"Amazing food with great service. We went here several times when staying at the resort. The food was so good. Service was fast and friendly. I dream of going back soon. Their deserts were huge and super good. It was perfect for our family."

"Lovely food here at the Minecraft at the Twin Peaks. Our family had Pizza, fried chicken, reuben sandwich and fish and chips. It was all very nice and big portions. I had the fish and chips (fries), with salt and vinegar, it was exceptional, best fish I've had outside of UK, and better than most in the UK, well done."
