"I recently took my 2001 GMC pickup to Dave. Automatic transmission was going bad. Dave was able to not only sell me a new rebuilt transmission but also was able to install. Dave's mechanic Heather which by the way is Dave's daughter not only installed the new transmission but also replaced the rear engine main seal as the transmission was out of my pickup at that point it only made since too replace a $ 40.00 seal. Heather in my opinion is the best mechanic in the grand junction co area. I would highly recommend that if you need mechanical work done to your vehicles do not hesitate take it to Dave's."

"We are taking his "son" (the kid who works there) to court over an even trade deal he's trying to back out of that THEY (the owner) and he pressured us into signing. Sooooooo glad we did now!!! After reading all the negative reviews everything that has happened makes sense. My guess is they took any good parts off our car and put bad ones in it then tried to back out because they got what they wanted after what I've read here. We will be seeing them in court and possibly pressing criminal charges depending on what they do between now and then. If anyone tries to buy the 88 Nissan 300zx, DON'T - It's already been traded and there is a signed contract."

I have bought minor and major parts from them as well as a vehicle. And yes they went above and beyond to make sure all was well. Dave's knowledge of vehicles and parts is above all I have seen. "I totally agree, the wife was awesome and she would be a lot of fun. I went twice, (over 300 miles) once to buy and another to return, he was very rude, especially on return, when he sold me the wrong part. I didn't get refunded the tax I paid so they still made extra money off of me. I guess if it makes them feel good, I felt lucky to get what I did. I definitely won't be going back!"

"!!P.O.S!! Needed an airbox for my dodge. Called and got a quote for 30 dollars. Went to get the part, Dave, the owner claims he had no recolection of me calling. His better of the two employees took me to get the part in the yard, I became interested in more parts. Came back up front and Dave refused (rudely) on the extra parts I desired. Went to his wife to pay. Transaction done and walking to my truck Dave comes running out, "I quoted you that part for 35 dollars!! Either take your money back or pay me what you owe me!" Yet when I first showed up he had no recollection of me calling... I paid the extra 5, using my card it cost me 12 dollars extra. Long story short, Dave is a salty P.O.S. that will never get mine nor my colleagues business again. Nice wife though"
