"James has been honest and they've done good work on my wife's 2006 Sequoia."
"My husband, myself and also my mother have been going here for quite some time. They have worked on 5 of our vehicles in the last 5 years, they won't rake you over the coals and are honest. Also they don't dilly dally either."
"I love this shop. As a woman it's hard to find a good shop to take your vehicle in where you're not going to get taken advantage of and pay more money. Luckily I know a few things about vehicles I just lack the tools and time since becoming a mother. I have taken 5 separate vehicles into polar bear, and I have been treated with nothing but respect. Today they got me in and out within 1.5 hours maybe 2 and they didn't charge me an arm or leg. I am very greatful. James is a respectful gentleman and knowledgeable. Thank you very much polar bear you guys (and lady) are amazing. ❤️"
"Was very dissatisfied with my service here. I recommend finding some place else in town as I will be doing the same. As a young girl I felt they took advantage of me and my vehicle due to the fact that I brought it in not twice but three times for similar problems each time. On the third time, my dad went to pick up the vehicle and they seemed to finally admit their mistake and offered not to charge. Not only after putting a total of $500 into problems that seemed to be caused by the mechanics themselves, my car came home reeking of cigarettes. Not sure if they smoke in my car, or around it but the smell was horrific. Not satisfies AT ALL and will not be returning."
"My parents are in their 70s and on a 22-day trip in their classic '56 Chevy. On Thursday, it started overheating. They managed to make their way to Grand Junction and to a hotel, and a local auto glass place they happened to pass by tried to find them a mechanic and came up with these folks. In 3 hours and 30 minutes' time, they found the leaky hose and the messed up air flow sensor that caused their problems, test drove it to ensure it was safe and got them back on the road again. They drove 5 hours to Colorado City last night with no further problems at all and have resumed their itinerary, only missing out on one stop. I have no idea what they paid, but their time on this once-in-a-lifetime trip and Dad's peace of mind in having someone fix the car he restored from the frame to completion are worth it. Thank you!"
