"Dr. VanderSluis has been our pediatrician for almost 23 years. She saw us through some pretty difficult times, made referrals at the right time, and always, ALWAYS took the time to listen to me and my children, treating us with kindness and respect. I remember her visiting us in the hospital with her own children in tow, calling me at home, helping me make difficult choices, and celebrating tremendous milestones. My children are now 19, 21, and 23. Sadly, we've had to move on. Seeing Dr. VanderSluis for the last time was probably one of the most difficult appointments I've had. Twenty-three years with the same provider isn't very common anymore. If you're looking for a pediatrician and want someone with experience, someone who will listen with a kind and compassionate heart, someone who is just as comfortable treating children with disabilities as she is treating those who are reaching all of their developmental milestones, look no further.
