"Berry's is usually my shop of choice, but they're always scheduled so far out that it just really isn't an option for me sometimes. So I've been looking for another shop that I can trust in case I need my car looked at quickly. Many brand name places and a couple smaller shops have made me feel like they did something shady, overcharged me, or treated me poorly because they thought I was young and incompetent. I called and they said they could check my car out the next day so I dropped it off the night before, but they were going through some stuff that resulted in them being short staffed and closed for a couple days and apologized for it taking so long. I need my car for work, so it definitely hurt a little bit, but I understand that things happen in life that you can't control/predict. When I checked in on my car a couple times, there were definitely some people who weren't so... understanding lol. The communication was also a bit difficult at times and would have to leave a message. After knowing their situation, I dont blame them in the slightest, but they always did call back and update me. I could have just taken it somewhere else, but he gave me his recommendation of what to do, an estimate for the work that was accurate, and was transparent and extremely friendly which I appreciated the most. He tried to start with cheaper options for why my car wasn't running correctly, and luckily, that's all it was! Obviously theres always the question of, do you use the big, expensive hammer to make sure to fix the problem in one hit, or start with the small, cheap one and keep increasing until you find the right one. But he did let me know my options for what it could be, and made me feel like I was involved with the decision on how to proceed. It's a small place, so you have to be aware that it may take longer than some bigger places, but they got me in quick, have reasonable pricing, and are transparent, friendly, and knowledgeable. It was only my first time here, but I will definitely be coming back in the future! Thank you guys for fixing my car, and most of all, treating me like a person and not just a bank account!"
"Atlas automotive ruined my engine and is taking no accountability. Their outward communication was non existent as I was never informed when my vehicle was done, nor do they call back when they say. I highly recommend anywhere else. Dealership prices are worth it for a service guarentee"
"Lots of miscommunication, was initially quoted wrong. The person who answers the phone sometimes apparently doesn't know the accurate hourly rate. Then was told it would be done same day or they would contact me before noon to come get my car. I left messages same day didn't hear anything back, when I did get someone on the phone around 10am the next morning they just said they "wasn't sure when they could get to it. " unfortunate, they all seemed really nice. I'm sure something out of their control is going on causing a messy workplace."
"Wouldn’t recommend this place. They wanted to charge me $2000 dollars for a fairly simple repair, after they called again and said they misquoted and it would be about $1400 and about 6 hours of labor time. I found another mechanic in town and he did the repair for about $300 and only took him an hour. My car is running perfectly fine. Edit to respond to their reply: Try to justify it however you want but the fact is you tried to charge me thousands for what others did for hundreds. And you told me I had problems other mechanics said I didn’t. Dishonesty and lies just to make money. Go to other mechanics"
"My husband and business partner, Luke, and I had a check engine light come on in the midst of a 3,100 mile journey hauling a tiny home across country. We lucked out that not only was Atlas one of the very few places open on a Sunday but they were friendly, informative, honest, and quick to diagnose the issue and get us back on the road. We would highly recommend. Thank you!"
