Prairie Wellness is a health institution located at 3209 Ingersoll Avenue in Des Moines, Iowa. They offer a holistic approach to mental health care, utilizing science-informed interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and EMDR. In addition to traditional therapies, they may incorporate mindfulness training, yoga, and other activities into your wellness plan. The team of clinicians at Prairie Wellness are licensed and board certified by the state of Iowa, and are passionate about providing advanced, empirically-based treatment with competence and compassion. Each clinician specializes in different areas, from treating anxiety and depression to working with specific communities such as the LGBTQIA community or military/LEO members and their families. Prairie Wellness also offers individual therapy, couples counseling, and family therapy using client-directed and research-informed interventions. They provide mindfulness classes throughout the year and offer telehealth services for Iowa residents. Patients of all backgrounds are welcome at Prairie Wellness, and appointments can be scheduled directly with the therapists. Copays and deductibles are due at the time of service, and the institution does not bill secondary insurance plans.
