"I was seeking out therapy just to see if it would improve my quality of life. It's something I could definitely go without but thought I'd see if it could benefit me. This isn't the case for everyone though and that's the reason I felt the need to leave a review. I had difficulty getting an appointment in the first place, which honestly is normal right now with all the events going on in the world. Once I had an appointment it was rescheduled by Kelly 3 times and the day I was actually going to see her she was late. I went into her office and she said if I was upset I could just leave and and look for someone else. This was without me saying anything. There was other stuff said by her but it's not necessary to include. It was a very awkward interaction and I did end up saying " I think I am just going to leave", which was also very awkward but she made me feel very uncomfortable and like she didn't want me there or have time. Leaving the office I knew more about her personal life than she knew about mine. And we didn't even start the session. I do hope this isn't a typical interaction with a therapist because there are a lot of people that really need assistance with issues to improve their mental health. I am still taken back and in disbelief about the total situation and poor interaction."
