"I was referred to Avera Physical Therapy for chronic pain management. The physical therapy department here offers basic PT, with exercises, some equipment, and individual PT evaluations. They do NOT offer infrared heat therapy, acupuncture, or more specialized pain control modalities. If you are looking for basic exercise coaches to help you with uncomplicated conditions, and short-term recovery, this might be a good place to get PT. If you have a more complicated or chronic condition which involves multiple systems, I would ask lots of questions and see if this is a good fit for your needs."
