"The service center is over priced and estimated me 50 dollars per vehicle cheaper than what they actually charged me. I took my 2 vehicles in for a tire exchange, mount and balance. I was told to bring them in at 2pm, and they would be done before the end of the day. The technician left both trucks on the hoist and half way through balancing them left. I had no way to get to work in the morning. Tate didn't seem apologetic, he said, well I can give you 15% off per vehicle. The bill still ended up being 100 dollars more than what they quoted me. Scott the manager didn't return my calls. I work in healthcare, people depend on me! I will not be coming back for any services in the future and I do not recommend them."

"Absolutely an incredible experience. After leaving Willis Nissan with an incredibly horrible experience ( see review) we walked over wanting a similar SUV we thought we already been approved for. We worked with Samir who was incredibly kind and catered to our every need. He welcomed us with a warm smile and great attitude! He actively listened to our concerns from Nissan (who turned down our purchase for unknown reasons) and found a vehicle that perfectly fit our needs. He was efficient and remained within our budget. Lance also made sure we were taken care of and was happy to socialize and show us around! Very impressed by the treatment of all staff. They were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel at home. They definitely know how to treat is customer here and do business. Will not go anywhere else next time!"

"I’ve had an extremely poor experience with the service department at this dealership. I brought my vehicle in due to engine hesitation and a check engine light. Service claimed it needed ball joints, a new transmission (current one is 6 months old), an oil pump and a catalytic converter. All told, the repairs were estimated to be over $14k. However, they welcomed me to trade the vehicle in. The truck has been at the dealership for well over a month. The service department had claimed the warranty company is to blame for the length of time for the repairs. However, the warranty company claimed the dealership was not providing them with the information they needed to approve the claim. I was promised the truck would be finished on Tuesday. I waited until Friday and didn’t receive a call. I called on Friday afternoon and was told it would be finished by the end of the day. I came in Saturday morning to pick it up and was told it wasn’t done because they just received the transmission yesterday and the mechanic wasn’t in until Monday. Shottenkirk of Waukee has lost a customer. I will never use this dealership again whether for service or for any future vehicle purchase."

"By far the best car buying experience I’ve ever had! The salesperson that helped me, Cory, wasn’t pushy or intimidating like I’ve experienced in the past with other dealerships. Their inventory was very accommodating to my budget and Cory was able to find multiple vehicles for me to look at and test drive. Thankfully we were able to find something just perfect for me. I’ve been to many different car dealerships in the past but Shottenkirk will be the only dealership I buy from in the future!"
