"Some friends and I spent the night here this weekend for a paranormal investigation. Vicki was absolutely amazing! She was super knowledgeable about all the details of the house and what had happened there with the Granger family; and she spent a lot of time answering our questions. We could really tell how much she cares about this place and the history behind it. We had a few interesting things happen, but also always felt really safe there. We definitely want to come back again to stay, but also even just to be able to see Vicki! She was just the absolute sweetest and I highly recommend checking this place out!!!"
"ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT AND ONLY GOT TO SEE THE OUTSIDE!"
"I've attended both a private tour and a paranormal event, both were fabulous! Vicki took care of our tour and was so friendly, knowledgeable, and entertaining. Highly recommend spending time at the Granger House. It is wonderful to see how much care goes into the tours, events, and keeping the house beautiful."
"I just want to take a minute to express my complete unhappiness with our experience at Granger house last night. I booked the house for the night. The majority of our group had been there before. Since one had not we took the tour with Vicki. During that tour she said she had left her name and phone number in case anything happened and we needed to leave. So the first couple of hours were pretty good. Had great communication. Then things took a bad turn and the girls did not feel safe anymore. We decided that in our best interests we had to leave. I used Vicki’s phone number and left a message that we had to go because the girls were scared. We went outside and saged ourselves and everything that was with us. After playing phone tag for a bit longer I finally got in touch with Vicki. She gave me instant attitude. She was very rude and everyone sitting in the car with me heard it. We waited in the car after I saged around the car until Vicki arrived. I went out to meet her at her car and asked her why we couldn’t call since that is what she asked us to do. She was very rude from the minute she got out of the car. It was obvious she was mad about having to come back. We could have very well left without someone coming to close up the house. I really want to ask for money back because of the simple fact that she was a horrendous person to us. I don’t think she should have anything to do with the public because she is frightful. Best of luck to you as you continue to have tours and use her as a guide. I hope others have a much better experience that we did."
"I’ve been to this location twice. Both were special events with ticket fees. The first time we attended a presentation on Women Serial Killers. The guest speaker was fantastic. The second time we went to a presentation by the Iowa Society of Paranormal Research. Super interesting and fun evening. They told us about their research, demonstrated tools they use, and then we spent time in various areas of the house ghost hunting. Looking forward to another event!"
