"Very disappointed in our experience here in Iowa. Took my two granddaughters to get their ears pierced and was told a parent had to be there. No where did I find this requirement on their website. Is this a local policy? My daughter even offered to call them and give verbal authorization. Nope! I am a responsible grandparent who doesn't get to see the kids without driving 6 hours and the having to research a Claire's which was 50 miles one way not to mention the disappointed girls! Claire's should figure out how to take advantage of sales to simply stay in business....as with several other retail operations, they won't be there in two years!"
