"Original rating was 4 stars because of the service provided by a very empathetic, & was helpful despite the never ending line of disgruntled patrons. 'HOWEVER, The last two visits have been time consuming, upsetting, and absolutely NOTHING had been achieved. I wasted two hours of my life getting in and out of line to fill out the papers the advised complete. (which the desk is suppose to have a stock on hand & ready, but nope), But because it was 10 til closing they refused to take my COA and said to come back on tomorrow WHEN IT'S CURRENTLY SATURDAY AND I'VE BEEN IN LINE OVER AN HOUR JUST WAITING TO GET THE PAPER TO FILL OUT?! THE WEBSITE HAD ALREADY TURNED ME DOWN.... ramble ramble ramble"
"We no longer have a main postal hub here in Sioux City, instead it moved to Sioux falls, SD. We are spose to trust Hy-Vee employees with our mail/packages when they constantly steal money from customers by price match lies(make sure your item matches the receipt) and their having financial issues. The post office downtown is constantly busy and never enough people working. Employees at downtown customer service counter give contradictory information. Postal carrier keeps refusing to pick up return to sender/wrong address mail for people that don't live here and also left a note once for us to leave our names in mailbox, we don't need to leave our names in OUR mailbox. We went through the proper steps for our address change(which were excessive). When we write on someone elses mail saying that person don't live here and return it to sender that means take it back so it's properly handled. Then there are times when my packages are damaged. I've had issues were postal carriers have marked some of my packages as undeliverable because they for one reason or another couldn't/wouldn't take my multiple packages to my house since they wouldn't all fit in the mailbox. I have also had issues with my tracking request not being fulfilled onlined so my package will disappear for days then all the sudden apear at my mailbox/home and still no email notification. Was told by the post office lead employee that they told the mail carrier to only deliver mail for me, I replied I stated in every communication that I'm not the only person in my home and you messed up. We found out that some of our mail has been returned to sender over a few day period because of that postal lead employee, now we've been getting barely been getting any mail, and even mailed a letter to ourselves to test it and that still hasn't shown up either. Seems we have a serious issue with a lead employee making choices she shouldn't have and should be fired(she fraudulently told the mail carrier to not deliver other peoples mail, she could've easily looked at the notes and even asked more info), it's on file that multiple people had to file change of address forms for this address and they have all our information. There's no way the 8+ other people live in our 2 bedroom duplex with us, and we even warned that it may possibly be fraud that those random people are doing."
"I would give 0 stars if I could. They double booked our appointment time with someone else then proceeded to tell us we didn't make the appointment " correctly" even though we had a screenshot of the confirmation page when we made the appointment online. Proceeded to argue with us saying they were completely booked and told us if we " had the time" to sit around the post office all day they " could try" to squeeze us in but " couldn't make any promises" Absolute waste of our time and we had to take time off of work to come to this appointment. They need more competent workers period."
"We've been in business for 67 years in Sioux City, Iowa. Up until the last 6 months, We have NOT been getting mail. I used to get some kind of Junck mail every day with bills. Now we're lucky to get 1delivery a week. NO Bills, some Sent to collections. WHO do I call or Contact to file a formal complaint. The mail man dodges me when he sees me. I wait for him to come to our mailbox, but he takes off. Do I confront him??? Or will that makes things worse. I think I'll find out his name some how and plaster him on Facebook.... any Suggestion ??? Please Help, it's a Problem."
"The woman who helped me ship my books back to my graduate school was so helpful and answered all of my questions with such patience. She helped me figure out the cheapest way to do it and the rest of the staff was super nice as well."
