"I was visiting Des Moines for a work training and booked a daith piercing with Tyler. Booking was super easy, and I was able to book it even though it was a pretty impulsive piercing! This was my first cartilage piercing and it went SO smoothly and phenomenally! Tyler talked me through the whole process, and took the time to take a look at both ears to see which would be best for this specific piercing, while also taking into consideration other piercings that I have vague plans for in the future. He was super helpful (but not at all pushy) with my jewelry selection, and was also really mindful of my budget, making sure to tell me if a piece I had picked out was within that range. He was also super helpful with helping me pick out a piece that was beautiful and that I would be able to see, because that’s something I definitely would not have thought of on my own. It’s been fun catching a little glimpse of my new piercing every time I see my reflection! The studio is GORGEOUS and incredibly clean. Weirdly enough, the piercing didn't even hurt so I guess my expectations for more “big girl” piercings in the future are just going to be incredibly high now! Tyler was very clear about aftercare, and potential situations I may run into with my new piercing, and I feel really secure knowing that I can reach out via text with questions or concerns even once I’m back home in Boston. I’ve been recommending this studio to literally everyone I’ve met while I’ve been in Des Moines, it was just SUCH a great experience, so thank you again!! Will definitely be back if I ever find myself back in the area!"

"My daughter and I both went here for a double lobe and helix piercing for her birthday and were so pleased with how they turned out! Cody was so friendly, did an excellent job explaining the entire piercing process and aftercare to us. When my daughters helix got a little irritated, we text Cody and he got us in that same day to change out the backing to help out. Highly recommend Mint!"

"I got my piercings done two years ago and the experience, piercer, and atmosphere was lovely. However, the placement of the holes was poor and I ended up taking them out 6 months later and hoped they'd close enough to pierce again in a better location. On one ear the placement is worse than the other. On my right ear (the worst placement) he came in with the needle from behind and I know the placement didn't end up how he had hoped with the second hole lower than the first. The third holes have closed almost completely but were very low on the lobe so when I did switch earrings it looked like it was almost hanging off my ear. The $500+ spent in this venture to be left with misplaced holes is something I'll regret for a while."
