"Where do I even start....IMO I wouldn't work here, the staff in the office are friendly, absolutely no issues with them. The equipment on the other hand is the junkiest of junk on the road, while yes they are now "SLOWLY" getting new tractors in doubtful you will get 1 being new, also highly highly unlikely they replace the trailers, not 1 trailer is air pin release it's all old junk pull bar pin release, NO room at their yard in Quincy to maneuver because of all the OLD tractors & trailers Jack refuses to get rid of and 1/2 of them are wrecked, my 1st 2 days with Sharkey I broke down and multiple times have had to get my truck jumped after the weekend and on the road! For what they pay you while it's only average I'd say it's "NOT" enough to deal with the equipment, guess it also depends upon if you do reefer and if you take the insurance or not, guess it can get up into the $.60 cpm range, the miles are average nothing to ride home about..Don't choose Sisbro or Core either as they are sister companies to Sharkey all run under the same umbrella, Sisbro gets Sharkey's junk!
