"Very unsafe drivers. This one specifically…"
"My boyfriend, his brother and I were driving on I-80, Monday at around 1:30pm when one of their white trucks (truck 131) turned on his blinker for a second and merged over into our lane. The driver didn’t even bother to give us enough time to move out of his way before getting into the lane. We swerved and ended up in the ditch. I have literally never been so scared in my entire life. When your driving a big vehicle like that you need to be extremely careful about how you’re driving. If we hadn’t swerved into the ditch we would have died. When the police arrived to the scene we explained what happened and went to where the truck was pulled further up the interstate. That’s when the truck driver decided to place blame on us and say that he gave us enough reaction time. If he had given us enough reaction time we wouldn’t have had to swerve into the ditch. He said he had to move into our lane because there was a tractor on the side of the road, but he had more than enough time to see the tractor. So there should have been no need to blink on his blinker for a second. When everything was wrapping up and the truck driver was heading back to the truck he decided to say very smugly as he passed our door “I’m sorry for startling you guys”. He didn’t just startle us. He could've killed us! All I can keep thinking about is what if this wasn’t this truck drivers first incident like this? What if it’s not his last? We called and the owner was extremely rude and told us that this truck driver had told him that he had given us 100 yards before turning on his blinker. If that was the case we wouldn’t have swerved into the ditch. The owner then decided to say that we were the ones lying about the accident, but what do we gain from that? Literally nothing! All I wanted to say is please please please be careful when driving near these semi trucks because they will run you off the road and then spin the entire situation so it’s your fault!"
"One of the drivers, his name is James Aurther Broughton ran my brother, girlfriend, and I off the road and then blamed us on it, he literally almost killed us. We are all Traumatized to drive next to a semi now. He was a 66 year old driver he might need to retire. He was sitting there tell the cops how it was all our fault and what not. He’s lucky we didn’t all die. I hope he thinks of that, he needs to be fired. Very bad drivers and now we almost all need therapy and we all never wanna drive again. His name was James Aurther Broughton again, and he literally almost killed us and all he cared about was us being at fault, he lied to the cop just to get us at fault. Then we called his boss and he was very unprofessional and told he’s he’s annoyed with us and wanted to just hang up and not give us the time of day. Very unprofessional business"
"Completely unsafe drivers. Today, November 26, 2019, eastbound on I-80, Mile Marker 38 at 12:09 central time, white M&M daycab was traveling too fast for conditions, (snow and wet roads), then proceeded to tailgate a red Toyota Camry. Not just get close to them, maybe 1-1 1/2 feet of space between the truck and that car. Completely unacceptable, do not recommend. Steer clear if they’re around you on the roads."
