"I would give 0 stars if allowed - Chuck Jones did our taxes in 2020, and now, 3 years later, we discovered that according to the IRS our taxes were not filed because they were submitted twice, one requesting the refund be applied to the next year and (per our request) another one filed because we wanted our refund immediately. We never got the refund because the IRS will not file two returns, both with Chuck Jones name as our tax preparer and his signature. When we discovered our taxes were not applied in 2020 we immediately called Chuck Jones (who NEVER answers his phone) and asked him to fix the mistake. He was very rude to us and claimed there was “no way” he could have made a mistake. He wanted us to pay him (AGAIN! As we paid him already to do the taxes right) and would not return our calls or give us the required paperwork (“they are in storage”). After several stressful calls to the IRS and trying to get it done correctly we fixed the problem, WITHOUT his help. We even showed up at his office to pick up paperwork that we had requested, and his assistant was directed to tell us we had to pay a retainer to get our paperwork. Really, really incompetent guy who is rude and would not own up to or help us correct his mistake! Don’t make the mistake we made and hire him. He is a Ramsey Trusted preparer and we have also filed a complaint with Ramsey Solutions to get his name removed."
