"Enjoyable evening at the Amphitheater- got to hear the rock band "The Crust" - they played lots of great classics: Rush, Van Halen and Hendrix, among others. The Amphitheater grounds are very well kept and we liked being there. It's a nice addition for West Des Moines! Highly recommend the Summer Sundaze - free music, good food trucks, and a nice venue."

"Very nice venue for outdoor concerts, church services, and other events. The WDM civic campus around the lake is quite nice. If the event is held outside of regular business hours, the city hall parking lot provides plenty of spaces for performers and audience members. The amphitheater is also connected to the area's trail system."
