"Wednesday Feb 28th, 2024. Around 18:45. 4 of your trucks just went racing 25+ mph through the fuel ailes at Loves in LeMars to park in the bobtail spots. I would appreciate if this company took safety more seriously. There's no posted speed limit on loves property. But most professional drivers know that going that fast THROUGH THE PUMPS is gonna get someone killed. These fellas think they drive for NASCAR, I guess... The fact that 4 of them came in like that together tells me this happens more as a habit than an incident. Maybe they forgot that they represent the company, and that kind of driving behavior reflects poorly on the image of the company they represent."

"I've been here since the end of June, and I honestly don't have any complaints. They run the ever loving heck out of me!! I absolutely love this company!!! The planners keep me moving, and the dispatchers are not on my case wanting updates every hour. I've made more money in this company than anywhere else I've worked at in my 12+ years of driving. "Come on over Tell them JC in truck 24025 sent you! Truck 24025 Update November 2023: I’ve been here a year now. These people are like family. We deliver Reefer and dry loads out of Iowa and then find loads that bring us back to repeat the cycle. Dispatch and planning get me home to Texas whenever I ask. No complaints. I’d love more miles, but I understand that sometimes you have to take one or two short loads in order to set you up for more miles or in order to get you to a busy lane. I like that if I’m stuck at a shipper or receiver for awhile, then dispatch/driver managers will fight for me to get detention pay even though it’s not their delay fault. And I’ve never had a problem with my pay (thanks payroll team!) Maintenance team is top notch and really pushes you to either bring your truck in the shop for preventative maintenance or get it done on the road. Trailers are Great Dane trailers in great upkeep and condition. But I really love that the company is updating its fleet to new Kenworth trucks because I’m not a fan of these International trucks, even if they are new. Safety department is very driver friendly but focused on compliance, keeping violations down and safe operations of the vehicles. This is how it should be. Schuster gave me an anniversary bonus and a bonus last Christmas!!!….and gives me bonus (cpm) cents per mile in the form of an extra check each month for being safe and for on-time delivery. This really helps, and is definitely an incentive to be safe, legal, and on time. After a year, Schuster has a successful program that allows drivers to become owner operators under their authority as an option if you want. They even help you as needed. (This is legitimately a career path and isn’t a lease rental or other shady program like my last company offered.) Original review: I’ve only been here a few months and I’m loving the company culture and pay so far. Driver Manager and Planning have been super supportive of my home time needs.
