"Awful experience. Poor communication, filed taxes late and now we have a penalty due to negligence. Jeff doesn’t return phone calls. This firm lacks professional communication and will not assume responsibility for their actions. Instead blame the client. Switched to this company in Jan 2023 and took them over 6 months to get set up and my payroll transferred which had nothing to do with anything on my end. Once set up, the first three payrolls were in correct and late which was the first time in my 22 years as a business owner that this has happened. I had to set up several meetings with my old bookkeeper for them to get things straight. They never didn’t set up direct deposit for my employees. I had QuickBooks online and worked with a major National bank. Never was an issue for anyone else but for The Vroman Group it was. They still failed to get things done right. My loans were not paid and bills not managed as was a task we hired them for. My bookkeeper left the firm and when no one called me to inform me. I left many messages and no one including Jeff returned my call despite several messages being left . Instead I got a letter the firm was terminating his relationship. No notice , just a mess of my books and late taxes that I know have a penalty for. I called to further inquire. to. After termination, I that the email I was sent from the firm stating they had responded to the IRS about the late penalty, I learned that this was not true. They drafted up a letter, but never sent it . The letter outlines it was my fault or was a plea to reconsider the penalty. It doesn’t mention anywhere that the taxes were filed late at no fault of mine and instead the CPA. The employees are rude, Jeff doesn’t seem to care and is always out of the office . . Really was exciting about working with this firm and it’s very frustrating that I had so many problems . I’m not one to leave bad reviews, file ethics complaints against licensed professionals and or file malpractice but I feel I need to now. Just an awful experience. Would not recommend Jeff Vroman or this firm to any business owner."
