"Went the an in-person route versus turbo tax as I’d been doing for years. Mistake. Refund was less than turbo tax, cost was higher and I had to physically show up to an appointment versus doing it from the comfort of home via laptop. On top of all that , majority of my refund was deferred to a debt, which was okay, however the surprise fee of $39 was not. They took the very small remainder of my refund as a fee, just because they could. Dishonest and deceptive in my opinion. I won’t utilize them again next year. 2 stars only because the lady was nice enough. Otherwise one star for sure."
