"Did a drop off. Took weeks. Then was suppose to have state put on to emerald card. And it was not. . Our prepare roger, did not have a clue and took way too long. After 30 years of using hand r block we will now be dwitching."

"There were 3 interruptions during our appointment, one by phone and two people coming in the door. This concerns us that the distractions could lead to error in our tax preparation. The door was left open, which does not provide financial privacy for us. We are not impressed that H & R Block sells insurance to cover their errors in our tax preparation. We feel if you make an error, you should correct it. That's part of why we pay someone else to do our taxes. Offering such a thing makes us feel like you take figuring our taxes less seriously."

"My appointment was at 10. Waited..30 minutes.. I was asked to drop off my return. The money to pay for it was taken out of my return without asking me. I did not want it taken out of my return.I wanted to pay that day but it was done already without asking me. I was called back to store only to wait 2 hours (until 12:30 noon) I had itemized questions that were not answered cause of this drop off instead of them keeping my appointment. I had a 20$ off coupon that was not honored until Monday and it was saposto be taken off my bill originally. Which was photo copied with my return. If small details are overlooked how is my return being prepared? I intend to let all 100+ co workers my negative experience st Spencer, Iowa H&R block..the only positive was Bubbba the secretary she was trying but the tax guy Ken Dunn I had was the only staffed person. The thing is I had a appointment for over a week. I was NOT a 'walk in'. My return was completed they sais at 9 p.m. on monday. Not good."
