"Completely non-existent customer service. Made a reservation for one of their properties through Marriott Homes & Villas which happened to fall on the weekend of Winter Storm Gerri, which shut down much of the midwest and made us unable to travel to Des Moines. Tried contacting Hello Neighbor several times over the course of three days to try to make alternate arrangements but they do not answer the phone, return voicemails, or respond to emails, which left us with a reservation we were wholly unable to use. Concerning to think that if something went wrong while we were at the rental, there would have been zero support. Do not do business with them if you can help it."

"Enjoyed our stay again at The Lyon in East Village-Des Moines. We typically stay longer stays, this time was 6 weeks. Our unit, Modern Maize, was perfectly clean and ready for our arrival. Everything you need is provided in the unit.The night view of the city and State Capital is breathtaking! The things we most enjoy about staying at The Lyon is the location, free parking on-site, nice workout room, elevator, and the building seems relatively quiet. Josiah is wonderful to work with, he is very helpful and informative when we have had any questions."

"Josiah has set up a great place! We stayed at one of his Polo Apartment rentals. This is one of the most affordable, yet well done short term rentals our family has stayed. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen so that we could easily make all our meals. The place was super clean and comfortable. The apartment complex was quiet and parking was easy. We would highly recommend staying with any of Hello Neighbor's properties! They know how to do short term rentals!"

"I booked this unit for a girls weekend in Des Moines and was very pleased with everything about it. The check-in, check-out process was seamless. Josiah was great to work with and quick to respond to any questions I had. I know I will always enjoy my stay when the unit looks like the pictures posted online. I was not disappointed as it was very clean! We loved having access to the swimming pool to help beat the summer heat. My morning coffee routine was so easy with the Keurig on the kitchen counter. We enjoyed the decorating theme and special touches throughout that made it very comfortable. I would definitely book again and have no hesitation recommending to someone coming to the Des Moines area."
