"Was without a doubt the worst landlord I've ever rented from, or met for that matter. He did not clean the property from the previous tenant we rented from him, I had to. The state of the property was in desperate need of structural repair. He was not willing to fix a grandiose list of safety concerns regarding framing, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical. If you are thinking about renting from him please reconsider or risk losing everything you give him for deposit."

"If I could do a negative star review I would. He has rental properties in the glenwood Iowa area, my boyfriend and I found a home we where interested in. And applied as requested, no application fee. First meeting, he was very confused and didn't seem to know what was going on. He told us froeday he would call amd let us know what the next step was, Friday came and gone, Tuesday the following week he called me and said if I wanted the property at 302 N walnut it was mine, to call him back asap, so I did 5 different times 5 different messages with my full name and phone number and property I was interested in. He finally answers on the 5tth call, he said that he had a other couple interested in the property and to give him a call in 24 hours. As you can tell I was confused and a bit irritated with the situation, I call him back Wednesday 24 hours later, he asked me to meet him at his office in glenwood and then we would see the property amd we wanted it that it was ours. Show up at 630pm today, he has the wrong couple in front of him. Proceeds to tell us to give him more time throws the other application in front of us with ALL their personal information on it, and tells us to look it over, that it wasn't us, it was someone else. , and that NOW we need a $50 application fee. To run our credit check when he just got done telling us that he just needed a landlord reference to state we paid our rent on time.......with that. We left his office, disappointed, angry. We have been searching for a place for 4 months this is the closest we have gotten to renting a property, due to my background and credit history. So needless to say. We where not happy with the customers service or anything for that matter."
