"Great price for a very spacious downtown apartment. Would highly recommend!"
"The outdoor dog space was great but the management blamed my friends and I for 'making a mess' in the community area. The space looked cleaner than it did before we went there after we left, they just wanted an excuse to charge their residents for cleaning costs of a communal space. Oh and it's right across from the fire station, you'll be woken up at least every other day first thing in the morning."
"I love living here. Proximity to all the downtown restaurants, the farmers market, theater and parks suits our lifestyle perfectly. There is even a small grocery nearby that has a surprisingly great selection of household staples. There is a bit of noise from the fire station, but it's minimal most of the time and does not detract from the ambience. The halls are quiet, the people are nice, and all the doggies make this building feel very homey. - From a verified resident on ApartmentRatings"
"The apartment itself was fine but the management company was not easy to deal with. It’s difficult to get a hold of them - even during office hours you’re not going to be able to get anyone on the phone after signing a lease and have to wait for a call back instead of it being convenient for you, and once you do speak to with someone you’re likely going to hear different things from each person you speak with. The policies the management company has for the building make it clear they don't care about folks living comfortably in the apartments they pay for. The amount of turn over I saw while I lived her was evidence of that. This may work for a short term place, but if you’re trying to find a long term rental this isn’t likely the best bet."
"After living here for a year, I started to notice that the cons outweighed the pros. For one, there is no free parking near the building. When moving in, the management company never mentions the lack of non-metered street parking. The only parking associated with the building is in one of two garages which cost $125 per spot per month and you are unable to break that commitment without a fee for the remainder of your lease. Watch our for hidden fees that are not not included in the rent. The maintenance team and the office are never on the same page. From about December to when I moved out in April, our water heater was not working at 100%. There would be days where a hot shower lasting longer than 10 minutes is not a possibility. Every time a tech came in to fix the heater, it seemed to be a temporary fix. I do not blame the maintenance techs because they were always stretched thin and did not seem to get much instruction from the office. Additionally, the two garage doors were broken at least every two months and it would sometimes take all day to get it fixed leaving those inside or outside of the garage stranded. If you were thinking of sitting down and talking to someone in the office, you can say goodbye to that. The only way to get in contact with the office is to email or leave a voicemail with hopes of getting a text within the hour. When I added to someone to the lease, I was badgered by the individual in the office for leaving a five star review for simply doing their job. I am not against leaving good reviews or complimenting an individual on their performance, but it felt as though they were holding up the process in exchange the five star review less than half way into the lease. Finally, my floor started to just crack and peel and the issue was not really addressed while living there and was never fixed."
